Larry Wilmore

How funny (or unfunny) was Larry Wilmore? 10 is very funny. 1 is terrible.

Of course, and as usual, Obama was the best comic in the room.

I just don't and that was hard to watch I have seen comics fail on stage and it's just painful. That was painful.

in your face overt slam. I think Blitzer is horrible and doesn't do followup, as Larry said - but you have to angle that in in a way that doesn't mortify the man.

Assuming the link works......

Everyone has been talking about him, but I didn't have a chance to see it live. I'm watching it now -- seems funny the first couple of minutes that I've seen so far.

Not the President- who was great. The most detestable ever was Don sLIMUS; the top'o the heap was COLBERT. This dude was just meh.

I don't mind seeing a comedian take someone down a couple notches, but some of his put downs didn't have a punchline. They were just insults.

He's funnier on his own show. Maybe he flourishes with a writing staff.

I love Larry Wilmore usually, but I think he needed an editor tonight, and another drink. Some individual jokes were funny, but the routine kind of died. Of course, many a comedian has gone down following the president at these affairs over the past few years. He's a hard act to follow. And it's not because his jokes are funnier: he just has a killer delivery. He pauses, and he doesn't overkill by explaining a joke afterward, or repeating it several times for effect.

If you go to YouTube there is also documented proof that Cruz is an alien lizard hybrid. I seen it myself.

I love his show, but there he has an excellent cast and an audience backing him up.

Here, he seemed a little out of his element. Too bad, because he can be right on target.
