I cannot stand to listen to either one of these guys on TV anymore. They both are full of hot air. They blau blau blau on and on and never say anything of substance. Most of the time their conversations make no sense. So why listen to their nonsense and act like it is suppose to mean something?
Both Donald Trump and Ted Cruz pander and have no solid beliefs. Please take both of them off of my TV set!

(1,965 posts)All the candidates involved, to the point where I avoid all news outlets like the plaque, and have taken to spending much less time here, for much shorter duration's.
I've never seen anything like this level of garbage and hope to never again.

(10,857 posts)I have this theory that Cluster B personality disorders are the source of all the world's ills, and they run the Republican Party from top to bottom. We are lucky that we've been able to corral most of them in just one party. If we could push them all out of the workplace and into politics and Hollywood, the world would change overnight.
The Cluster Bs are easier to spot in print, where one can analyze what they said instead of being distracted by how charmingly they said it.
What they all have in common is a persistent lack of empathy. They view others (especially their followers) as less-than-human and cannot ascribe human emotions to them. Sociopaths, of course, don't even have emotions except the reptilian ones like anger and hatred and vengeance and sadism.
That lack of empathy shows up in print all the time, and if one can forget the tragic future in which such people will set the world aflame if they get close enough to steal it, it's one continuous episode of Eastbound and Down, where emotionally tone-deaf assholes scheme for themselves and nobody else, all day long, day after day, year after year.
Like a barrel full of shit-covered rats, scurrying over each other to get a glimpse of daylight.
That's their "policy," just an endless series of schemes to fuck each other over and get to the top. They've always been like this and, if we can keep policing our own party as well as we have, we'll be able to enjoy watching them squirm.
But the damned rats are always finding a way out of the barrel.

(2,682 posts)I've quit watching MSNBC because of the wall-to-wall coverage of every sound uttered by Trump.
I'm desolate at the loss of al Jazzera America network. They had good coverage of things going on in the rest of the world.
There should be a law that prohibits campaigning more than 2 years ahead of the general election. This shit has gone on for far too long and it just gets worse and worse the closer we come to November.

(24,692 posts)I wonder why? Other countries have much, much shorter campaigns and much, much higher voter turnout.

Both Democratic Candidates at least are competent and sound rational. Ted Cruz and Donald Trump sound crazy and baseless. When either of these two are asked basic questions they never answer in any meaningful way. That is disturbing.
I feel that both Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are incompetent posers.

(23,340 posts)I was astounded when the windbag got a tv show, and even more so that it was renewed.
I've gone out of my way for years to avoid his presence in the media.
