(6,852 posts)Residents are going door to door to instal filters and even with the filters most residents still don't trust the water for obvious reasons. No aide has come at all.
I was shaking with anger.

(22,380 posts)I'm glad she clued us in, I've been wondering. The fact that congress does not act either is the worst indictment to me. The governor needs to be investigated and probably imprisoned, and the mess needs to be cleaned, the people given all the health care and possible cash to re-emburse them for the horrid inconveniences and the fears they have had, and their houses need to be brought up to snuff when it comes to plumbing so they don't have their home values destroyed.
Bring on the corps of engineers, and bill the state of Michigan. And make congress step in and do what they need to to that horrid governor.
