(12,530 posts)This hardly seems newsworthy. I mean, we never read that an accountant did his or her job for a solid 8 hours, but we sometimes do read about it when an accountant embezzled 2 million dollars.
Was the cop doing his job without brutality, without committing a crime? If so, I fail to see why you wrote the OP.

(1,858 posts)And abuse that gets so much attention, you get a distorted view of reality from the media.
With over 750K cops in this country, I would expect hundreds of new videos of abuse uploaded to youtube everyday if most cops were bad. Nearly 70% of adults have smartphones now.

(1,685 posts)Big dummies get drunk, start pushing and shoving and the cops come out of nowhere and remove the idiots involved. I love it. The idiots get to spend a night in the drunk tank and think about it.

(7,512 posts)It's ok that this cop body slammed this man because the man was drunk and belligerent. Sorry, really drunk and belligerent.
Ok, so my next question is this. Is there a line where police violence against the public is no longer ok? I mean would it be acceptable to you if the cop had tased him? What about shooting him? What if he was really really really drunk and belligerent?
