What is the West supplying?
If there is a Civil War in Syria, who is supplying the weapons to those opposed to the government.
Russia and China are merely playing by the UN rules.
I know it's hard to believe but the US and the West do not own the world.

Look I never support the slaughter of innocents but all these fuckers are fighting for their interests - they care as much for the Syrian people as Bush and Cheney cared for the Iraqis.

When I listen to M$Greedia and BBC speaking about the slaughter of Syrian children, I wonder where they were when their governments were slaughtering Iraqi children and Afghan children.

You see only the deaths that suit their agenda are covered.

6. The Saudis, Qatar and the other Arab league states are primarily Sunni

and are arming the primarily Sunni "rebels" against the primarily Shia Assad regime. Its why the Shia Iranians are steadfast that they will support Assad, going so far as threatening Israel if Assad is harmed.

Soooo, with Iran threatening Israel, its clear to me that the US is also involved in providing arms and support to the "rebels" - thru their proxy the Saudis imo.

In fairness to the Russians and China, not only are they trying to protect their investments but they also believe that removing Assad will throw the entire region into a sectarian battle. The civil war in Syria will become a regional religious genocide which isn't in anyone's best interest.
