They threw everything they had at Obama and were still crushed as Obama had two landslide victories.

Their 24/7 propaganda machine only works on themselves.

Bernie pushed Hillary further left than she would have EVER gone without his revolution, period.

I have been enamored of his ideas since 2014 when he first started indicting the system on talk show appearances and speeches. He said what needed to be said and fought to get the things we need most into the platform - education, health care, bank reform, campaign finance, minimum wage, and more.

I will take the compromises and fight on and to do that, we start by electing Clinton and defeating the Talking Yam!!!

Bernie may have found a home.

He's been an Independent all of his career, and now he's, what, 74. And he's talking about a movement he's been leading as it approaches leadership positions inside the Democratic Party. He wants the Democratic Party to change. He's invested.

The good news is that, assuming a Clinton victory, Sanders' ascending voice will be as a chairman of a powerful Senate Committee. Both he and Senator Warren, among others, can make a lot of mischief.

Don't misunderstand, I like Bernie and most of his ideas, but he is NOT invested in the Democratic party. He has already taken back his (I) moniker and will go back to that in the Senate. I do hope he gets a chairmanship, but it will not be as a Democrat.

He applied for it. While he waited for a decision, he was subject to the draft (after the same student deferments everyone in America got), but they didn't get to him. Then, he aged out. It was all above board, no behind the scenes strings being pulled to keep him out of the draft without surfacing that.

Sander was 100% correct that it was an immoral war. Nuremberg principle. Muhammed Ali got props for having the courage of his convictions about that war. Bernie gets bashed for having applied for the status. Both of them were right, though.

BTW, for whom did you vote for President in 1992 and 1996?

I think his speech shows the rock solid consistency of his career of fighting for the 99%. He did everything he possibly could, it was a success light years beyond any expectations. I don't feel like he lost anything. Thank you Bernie for changing the landscape, and addressing all of the REAL issues!

Beware though.

The people have spoken and, unlike the previous generation that lapped up the Reagan bullshit like willing lapdogs, are not embracing libertarian/Republican economics or a church-dictated social platform any longer. They're generally NOT going to get more conservative as they get older.
