Louisville woman brought to court without pants (for 3 days) - of course she's black

Also, no feminine hygiene products. 1st time shoplifting charge and they were trying to sentence her to 75 days. The judge quashes the sentence and gets the senior person in the jail to address this (on film).

Isn't that just a misdemeanor that would get a ticket and a fine in most places?

....decided to handle their egregious personnel problem. The people responsible are doubtless civil service employees -- the judge is in no position to either fire or sanction them (if that's what you were thinking).

The situation is horrible, and clearly needs to be cleaned out from the top down.

By the way, it's not "meaningless" to publicly validate a person who has been humiliated and victimized.

The judge found out she had been pantless and without feminine hygiene product for three days! The judge said something like, "Am I in the twilight zone?" She then had her escorted out of the courtroom until they could find her some clothes.
