Trump needs an intervention? No, it's the Republican Party that needs an intervention.
Look how they have spent the last eight years. Their whole "platform" ,if you will, has been to obstruct President Obama. To include over fifty votes to undo the Afordable Care Act. If the definition of insane is to keep doing the same thing , expecting different results, well there ya go. Very little of what Trump has done in this campaign is as bad as what the mainstream house republicans have managed to do over the last few years. Trump is only a symptom and symbol, not the problem. That the right wing of America has nominated someone with a severe narcissistic personality disorder is symbolic too. It is also a cry for help, a cry for an intervention. I suspect that in the dark of night, in their secret thoughts, these extremists are praying that America will reject their nominee and save them from themselves, not to mention the rest of the world. As improbable as a Trump presidency seems due diligence requires that we bend our energies to seeing that this possibility is only a footnote in election history, snickered nervously about, but still a footnote. Let the intervention begin.....VOTE.
