It's a generic version of Cardizem marketed by Mylan. I'll be calling my pharmacy today and telling them to please fill my next order with another generic. If another generic is not available I will pay the extra price for the brand-name version.
For all who care about this, look at your prescription bottles. If you have a Mylan product that can be substituted, tell your doctor or pharmacist that you do not want ANY product marketed by Mylan.

(60,010 posts)In fact, even generic drugs have become more expensive. One of my generics went from 10.00 for 90 days to 115.00 for 90 days.
I do need to check the label on that one to see if it is Mylan.

(918 posts)traction because most people would prefer to do nothing and let corrupt politicians make their decisions for them.
Mylan is an excellent excellent example of the bi-partisan government/industrial complex.
The American people have the power to bankrupt Mylan (a Dutch company since their recent inversion) in a few months.
But we'd rather wait for the Senate to hold hearings and recommend legislation that the lawyers and accountants will be able side-step within minutes of passage. Then the politicians can campaign on how much they accomplished as they rake in donations from the industries they're supposed to regulate.
Rinse and repeat.
