Fall of an Empire

Fall of an Empire

Do the American people dislike Hillary so much they are considering the birth of a fascist, bigot, racist, demagogue candidate for president? The consequences will be the fall of an empire and our democracy! It will be done, piece by piece. Every branch of government will be shut down. All of our Civil Rights and Liberties will die along with all the freedoms this country has fought for. He will take control of our public schools, shut them down in exchange for private, for profit, charter schools, that can only be attended by the wealthy. It will be done under the guise of free choice. Privatize the V.A., Free elections will be gone and passed down to his children, who share his ideology, like North Korea. Our military will be taken over by Trump’s fascist army. Unions will be gone and we will return to slavery. Minimum wage will disappear, the economy will collapse and everything we worked for all our lives will be gone. The tears that come out of our eyes will be blood! Fascism, KKK and White Supremacy will be our government!

This is not a personality contest. The bravest souls and contribution came from our voluntary military who made the ultimate sacrifice and died for our democracy. It is our turn, in their memory, to put on our civilian uniforms and fight and march for our democracy and vote against fascism! Is voting for fascism the legacy you want to leave to your children? Be afraid, be very afraid!

President Obama will remain in D.C. Hillary will have the support of 2 past presidents and VP Biden. We will be safe!

propaganda and hype. A Trump win could descend America for decades into what you said. There well might not even be a recovery back to a democracy.

at least politically. Most of them voted for Romney. That was enough, but even considering voting for this bombastic ass is beyond anything I could have imagined.

But honestly, this demonization of so-called "White America" will only going to fuel those who'll vote for Trump.

The answer is "sticks and stones."

its just the matter of picking up the pieces, if there are any left after the election, and try to rebuild.

16. Many Americans IMO live in denial of what is happening to the US. Trump, is one example.

It's sad and pathetic that a creature like Trump can attract so many in the US. It's a very sad commentary on America.

They don't really think about the future. Their undivided attention is on WINNING. You will not be able to reason with them, because it's about maintaining R control. The R candidate is the only choice. You could switch candidates, placing Hillary as the R nominee and there would be no less support for her.

Except instead of warlords and urban mobs we have the mass media brainwashing people to do the bidding of our Mariuses, Sullas, Pompeys, and Caesars.

what Americans want the US to be. It's concerning and frightening that so many support him. If he were president and led his henchmen into the political establishment, I doubt there would be any return to a democracy for decades, possibly never. And the fools that want him have no comprehension of what they are voting for. They are clueless and ignorant. And likely Trump considers them all losers. He is using them to gain power. Analogous to what Hitler did in many ways. Finding scapegoats to rally the populace around him.

To be honest, I wish the American "empire" would fall. Not that way. But...unlike our founders, or the majority of our nation all along, I've never wanted my country to be an empire. Empires are part of the problem, just about every problem, not part of the solution.

And yes. It's been clear for a long time that a large block of the American people dislike Hillary Clinton a great deal. Perhaps you should be asking yourself why the party would set us up for Trump by running someone that so many dislike.

That said, I will certainly be voting against Trump, against fascism, against hate and fear. I sure as hell don't want Trump in the driver's seat of this already deeply dysfunctional empire.

If Trump is doing this well with all his faults what will happen when someone who thinks like him comes along who is actually qualified? The future of our Democracy is on shaky grounds.

I mean he still would need to get all that through congress/the senate/SCOTUS etc. This is just as overly dramatic as Trump supports who rave about how Hillary will erase the 2nd amendment and start a nuclear war with Russia.
