Suspended Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore wants four sitting Supreme Court justices to recuse themselves as he appeals his suspension from the bench over a gay marriage order.
The motion filed Monday also seeks to prohibit three former justices from hearing his appeal.
Six of the judges sat on Moore's unsuccessful challenge to the Judicial Inquiry Commission's actions in bringing charges of judicial ethics violations against him.
