Yes I am worrying. Didn't like two polls today from VA and Mich. and supposedly tomorrow NH.

(841 posts)I don't see Trump turning any true blue states red. Still, we have to get people out to vote to be extra sure.

(22,308 posts)They were bound to do exactly this anyways.
The whole kerfuffle over the new FBI announcement made it happen all at once.
The polls are swinging but Trump's ceiling hasn't changed.

(58,662 posts)Notice one thing about the polls. Don't focus on the +/- numbers, those fluctuate every day. Actually look at the numbers.
Generally, almost always this cycle really, the change in the +/- number comes from a change in Trump's number, not Clinton. Hillary remains cruising along in the mid-to-high 40's, while Trump fluctuates around 40 or so, +/- about 3.
Clinton's base numbers have not significantly dropped over the course of the campaign.

(6,342 posts)Hard to deny that Trump has gained some ground. Whether it will be enough ground we will have to see.
What the candidates do in the final week and where they go is telling of what they really feel is the state of the race. Hillary seems to be pulling back to defend the firewall while Trump is expanding into blue states. That's not a good sign. But it doesn't necessarily mean she's going to lose those states.
The people here who think she's going to win 400+ EVs are a bit delusional. As I have said for months and months, this race will be closer than many think.

(58,662 posts)For Clinton, she's also campaigning for down ballot races, Senators especially.
For Trump, I call it desperation. I guess he might be doing the Party a solid by campaigning for down ballot races, but I don't think he'd have any sincerity about it.
I'd love 400. Realistically, I see well over 300 EV, possibly as high as 350 or so.
