(112,236 posts)1. She also plagiarized part of the speech from Marla Maples.

Melania Trump made a much-talked about speech condemning cyberbullying on Thursday, but apparently some of it had been said before by Marla Maples.
Yep, the GOP nominees wife has been accused of plagiarizing from none other than the GOP nominees ex-wife.
Yair Rosenberg, a senior writer for Tablet Magazine, tweeted that Melania had lifted the phrase if you could dream it, you could become it from an old interview with Donalds second spouse, as both Mrs. Trumps misquoted a similar famous saying, he said, citing another Twitter user.

That's just too many Trumps in one sentence.

(21,794 posts)2. Like I've said previously, we are not picking on Melania. . .
She has willingly chosen to campaign along with TrumpleThinSkin's adult children.
. . .and I have not forgotten that speech she did at the GOP convention; heavily plagiarized from one of Michelle Obama's speeches a while back.
AFAIC, Melania is fair game, just like the other members of the family who have actively campaigned.

(81,304 posts)6. Unfortunately for her, yes. She stepped up. By doing so, she's no longer a noncombatant.
Dear Melania - once you stick your head up out of the foxhole, dearie, you're in the war. You got involved. You're out there in public making a high-profile speech supporting your candidate-husband. You didn't keep your head down and stay home with your kid. You stepped up, and forward, and out in the wide-open. You ARE part of it, girlfriend. And you ARE fair game.

Same goes for divorce proceedings. :roflZ:
