Did any of you attend an Election Results Viewing Party last week?

How did it go? My husband and I just watched from home. When I got home from work around 6 p.m. pacific time, everything was still so rosy, but then it went steadily downhill. I've been in a major funk since I went to bed on Tuesday. This sucks. We were all so sure Hillary would win.....there weren't enough bigoted white old people to elect Trump......Hillary will win at least as well as Obama did.......god, we were all so wrong. Sucks!!

became disbelieving devastation. I now know exactly how my UK friends felt about Brexit. I was able to imagine how they felt, but now I actually know and it is like a punch in the gut that never stops.

I remember that I didn't attend a celebration in 2008 because I was afraid that I would jinx Barack Obama.

I still can't quite believe it - I keep hoping that it's a nightmare from which I'll awake. But it keeps getting worse.
