Ivanka Trump Auctions Herself for $50,000

Ivanka Trump is offering deep-pocketed bidders a chance to chat with her over coffee for a cool $50,000.

In a listing posted last week on auction site Charitybuzz, the daughter of the President-elect and Trump Organization executive vice president volunteered 30-45 minutes of her time for a “private meet and greet.” The two winners, who must pass criminal background checks and be approved by the Secret Service, will have the opportunity to meet with Ivanka Trump sometime in 2017.

Though the listing makes reference only to her business experience and family with husband Jared Kushner, it speaks to the blurred line between her political and business roles.

Winners will meet with Trump either “at Trump Tower in NYC or Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C.,” depending on her schedule. The listing says Secret Service agents will sit in on the coffee date to ensure her safety.

Already, 14 bidders have ponied up huge sums in the hopes of meeting the real estate heir and beauty mogul. While the coffee date is valued at $50,000, the highest bid as of Monday afternoon was $23,000.

are not given Secret Service protection. I'd like to know just how much it's costing us to have Fat Bastard's adult children babysat.

BTW allegedly the money will go to Eric Trump's foundation for St. Jude's Hospital. Apparently we're just suppose to take it on faith that Eric's foundation is more honest than Daddy's. Whoever wins this should insist on making the check out to St. Jude's.

Geez, she doesn't have anyone to have coffee with without someone bringing a checkbook?

How pathetic.

It'll be a great time for her to plant bugs in various places in between pillow fights.

Trump campaigned as a man of the people! They should hold a lottery and Ivanka should go on a date with whoever wins, somewhere very blue-collar like a greasy spoon diner. Maybe have a cheeseburger and fries. That would have been a better PR stunt. I am surprised that Trump didn't have Ivanka do that instead. Maybe because the election is over the Trumps don't have to play populist anymore.

I am trying to picture her talking with me or my buddies at one of our favorite haunts. It is a funny picture. "So Ivanka, would you like fries or onion rings with your gyros?" "So Ivanka, what do you bowl?"

16. Ivanka should just donate her own 50,000 instead of taxpayers covering her sec service, bkrd checks,

paying legal and ethics lawyers for this conflict of interest, the list is endless and probably will cost taxpaers more than 50000. And so typically Trumpian...get other people to pay (including taxpayers) then the money goes back into the family "charities" anyway.

This one tho meets that special extra level of creep that her father pulled showing up at a charity event (and taking away a real donor's seat), in his (and obviously his daughter's mind) just spending time at/with is their act of "charity."

And, of course, which vested interest/foreign govt is going to cough up the 50,000 to get attn/favors from this Presidential offspring and "advisor"
