Intel experts worry Trump will go rogue

Intel experts worry Trump will go rogue
By Katie Bo Williams - 01/07/17 10:59 AM EST

President-elect Donald Trump’s skepticism of the Intelligence Community’s findings on Russian election interference has raised fears among experts that Trump will bypass intel analysts and demand that his personal team conduct its own analyses of raw data.

Tossing aside career analysts can create false conclusions, critics warn — like the George W. Bush administration’s incorrect assessment that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction (WMDs).

“The risk is that you request raw data to support a conclusion and you avoid seeing anything that contradicts it,” Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, told The Hill. “We can already see we have a president-elect who has difficulty with facts that are at odds with the narrative that he wants to tell or diminish his achievements.”

Presidents receive so-called “raw intelligence” all the time — recordings, satellite images and other data that hasn’t been evaluated and contextualized by career analysts. But there is also plenty of precedent for a president who wants to cherry-pick information to advance his own policies.

Onlookers doubt that the firebrand president-elect is likely to sift through data himself, but they are worried he will send a team of loyalists to go through the information and brief him themselves.

In a Trump White House, that could be anyone from retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, Trump’s pick for national security advisor, to Steve Bannon, the incoming White House chief strategist.

"...they are worried he will send a team of loyalists to go through the information and brief him themselves."

I don't believe for a minute that DT will do the hard work of being President. He just wants the title and will be more than willing to let others do the heavy lifting while he bathes in the lime light.

Everyone in the room is smarter than Trump, and they are experts at profiling

I would bet during the briefings they have an expert at psych profiling analyzing Trumps every word, mood and action

I would further bet the Intel agencies have a dossier on Trump and are adding to it daily

Every since this buffoon has been vomiting attacks against the intelligence community I have been thinking a select few may take one for the team ala "Operation Valkyrie" and other internal attempts to end the horror of being led by Hitler.

I am not advocating or predicting such an action just seeing it may happen. As the child of an Army intelligence operative who spent a lot of his service in mufti I could see Dad (rip) planing and taking part in such an action. He was a hawkish liberal- and yes such people existed and exist.

Was wondering when THE DEEP STATE and THE POWERS THAT BE that really run everything would chew up and spit out this Manchurian Candidate?

The real power in the USA may not be happy with a psycho they can't control? Not to mention every major corporation on the planet is at risk of losing substantial stock value every time Trump so much as mentions them in a tweet?

And if there's another attack on USA soil, all is lost. And our foreign policies seems to be a terrorist incubation mass production factory, so FEMA CAMPS, here we come!

Basically telling contractors - "You want your money - SUE ME!" would have resulted in Trump's life ending in the manner of Jimmy Hoffa, Dutch Schultz or Bugsy Siegel, perhaps by the mid nineties? He's done a great job channeling Roy Cohn's business advise his entire life. How he's managed to find institutions willing to loan him multi-millions is astonishing! And then he finds another sucker to pay off the previous sucker and occasionally resets by filing bankruptcy. I don't think the Russian debt holders would be pleased with him stiffing them for a half billion dollars! And just think of the magnitude of blackmail power such lenders have over him!

Our formerly great nation has elected a combination of Al Capone, Benedict Arnold and Charles Manson.

And his VP replacement will dedicate his administration to converting America into a Fascist Christian Theocracy.

The "bubble people" including the Butterball himself don't care about inconvenient facts that don't serve their greed for more wealth and power. They have their own gang of former Fox News and RT "analysts" who are very experienced at spinning and making stuff up that fits neatly into their bubble.

32. Trump has a personality disorder
Sat Jan 7, 2017, 02:50 PM
Jan 2017

As a man with NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder), Trump cannot believe anything that diminishes his self-image of genius and superiority over everyone else. He's not unwilling to do so, he is literally incapable of it. His brain receives a disparaging message and immediately rewrites it to fit his own internal narrative. He doesn't lie; he manufactures reality for himself and believes it with utter sincerity, which is why his gullible Deplorables feel like he is telling the truth. Trump IS telling the truth, it just happens to be a personal truth that is based on fantasy.

So Trump will continue to praise Putin because he's a strong man who said flattering things about Trump, which confirms his interior narrative. And Trump will continue to undermine everyone else is our government because they are his inferiors and some are treacherous enough not to realize that the superior Donald J. Trump is always right and always triumphs.

How can they let this idiot lunatic be given power? HOW? I keep asking how many bunker spos there are-because otherwise they don't even love their own children.
