Add up all the policies the GOP pushes and will push now that they are in control and you will realize they believe that "breathing is a privilege". You have no rights to anything whatsoever if you cannot pay for it. You have no right to a job, due process, health care, food, shelter, clothing or anything unless you have MONEY.
You must beg, grovel, or earn anything that will sustain you. And if you are unfortunate enough where you cannot compete in the market place then too bad. If you fall on bad times you dig yourself out. Of course if you are rich then you are ENTITLED to everything.
We are now in a country that has really lost its way and its soul.

(86,646 posts)I think the best thing we poorfolk can do to survive (to some extent) is to stop using money, we don't have much anyway. There is a strong barter system if you seek it out... if money loses it's value, we might have a chance. The other thing to do is educate potential police officers and military recruits about how their lives are being controlled and how they would be using force against their neighbors and family, might get them to refuse to be brutal fuckwads when the fascists start really abusing us.
Just a couple ideas, not that any of that will happen in time to stop this end times agenda.

(12,051 posts)either. The random Catholic or UU church or independent congregation will do what they've always done -- run a small food pantry, give out clothing to the homeless, etc. -- but that's it.
