No bad weather, but on the way up there was a plaque of those who died on the very climb I was making...all because of unexpected weather fronts.

I got to the (almost summit) only to find stairs leading to the actual summit...I had to lift each leg up on each stair...I had exhausted every muscle in my body!

This used to start happening in Dec with most nights in upper 50's.

It's been way too hot this "Winter" up til now.

This past weekend was cold, at least by our standards, but it was the first cold weather we've had all winter. By the end of the week it will be back up in the 70s.

But we wanted to experience a little coolness for the holidays. That way one can at least identify with the Christmas season movies where all is snow and frost.

Nope, didn't happen. May as well have been in Australia this time of year. Sheesh!

Damned cold outdoors. 68 degrees in the house, though. I stayed inside all day.

And not likely to go below zero for the next ten days.

But of course, it is the height of summer there.
