that if Trump really wanted to put all this behind him, he would invite Serge Kovaleski, the disabled reporter, to the White House. The two of them would sit down, one to one, man to man, and Trump would say:
"People are accusing me of mocking and humiliating you. I don't believe I did, and that was never my intention. But that's not important. What matters is - do you believe that I mocked you? Did you feel humiliated? Because if you do, I would like to find a way to put this behind us."
That's what would happen if someone really wanted to get past this, and didn't want the negative attention. But it's possible that Trump believes negative attention is better than no attention at all.

For the name calling. Trump is a very bad and disturbed person.

(14,918 posts)but lie about it since getting nailed for doing it. He has twisted the narrative to portray himself as the injured party, so he doesn't feel he has anything to "make right". He would only settle for an apology from Serge and all the media who covered the story. It's textbook behavior for a malignant narcissist, and we will be seeing a lot of it over the next 4 years.
