It's looking more and more obvious that he's just trying to get away from John Lewis's startiing argument -- that Trump is not a legitimate president because of Russian meddling in the election. Trump wants to direct attention away from his ties to Russia.


Editing to add that there's been no response from Trump to Alec Baldwin's brilliant cold open on SNL last night. I'm guessing that''s because SNL made so many references to the golden showers referred to in the document BuzzFeed published, and Putin's ability to blackmail Trump, and Trump doesn't want to direct any attention there, no matter how furious he must be with SNL.
