The news media spent 9+ months kissing Trump's ass and now they care? If someone decides that kissing Russia's ass would get them better ratings than Trump becomes their unlikely hero again, they would start speaking Russian and doing commercials for vodka.
the reality is while Trump is a Russian puppet, the real enemy is the news media. The news media has abandoned all journalistic standards and has shown a complete abdication of journalistic integrity.

You can put some blame on the collapse of the news media from dozens and dozens of independent outlets to a few corporations and then massive cost cutting measures but it's more than that.

News media cares a lot more about ratings than it does about journalism. Generating controversy on half-baked or fake news stories and ensuring a "horse race" when the other has no business being on the same stage is how you ensure there is a "reality TV" feel to your news and people watch.

They honed that formula against president Obama. Doing their very best to keep public opinion in flux and fostering that "can't be trusted" vibe just enough to keep people watching to see what Democrats or Republicans were going to do next. Reality TV.

That is the only way someone like trump becomes president.

1. There was a story about how the Trump Campaign had

made some kind of peace deal about anti Trump stories with Sinclair Media which controls Radio and TV Stations in several large Metro Areas. Okay,we have a couple of their Stations here in the Vegas area,in saying that,Friday evening local News ran a Story pumping Trump that was uncovered as a Fake News Story about Ivanka and her Business Success. Last night they ran a piece critical of the anti Trump reporting by certain Media.

This is a ABC affiliate,and the same group owns the NBC Station in town. See a pattern developing? There is zero independent Press or Electronic Media.

2. I agree

It's the news media that continues to play this out like one of trump's "reality" TV shows.

It was the news media that gave trump a billion dollars worth of advertising.

It was the news media that held a camera, in full screen, on a empty podium that trump was to walk to eventually, for almost 30 minutes, while a live Sanders event with almost 20,000 in attendance played out on a inset screen with no audio.

It was the news media that did almost nothing to uncover trump being a sexual predator for decades but spent hundreds of hours on opposition research against John Kerry's Vietnam service when he was being "swift boated" by right wing nut jobs.

Those are just a few examples. The current coverage is smoke and mirrors because there is better ratings in flipping against trump in the lead up to the inauguration because of controversy.

They will get everyone worked up into a lather about trump and Russia and then tone it down and then, slowly, it will fade away. In a month we will all be talking about climate change or something going on in the Middle East, these have been good transition topics in the past.

What is important yet to this day is,the meeting of the Media Moguls prior to the Primaries and their agreement to back Trump strictly on a for profit motive.

And if the folks of this great Nation missed that,you now see what happens when you do not pay attention my friends.
