If you want to be President, you have to be President of all the people. That comes with the job.

If you are incapable of bringing the people together, then you are attempting to govern with the minority of voters behind you. You will not have the consent of the governed. That means you are not a legitimate President.

That is why you need to work doubly hard to bring people together, at least the majority of the people. Your words are very important. Tweets are insufficient to express what the people need to hear.

If you want the people to respect you, then you must respect the people. If you want to be known as a President that is legitimate, then you must unite the country. So far, the only thing you have shown is division. Either change or resign.
