How Many Lives Has Obamacare Saved So Far?

Like the media would report something so.... well..... who cares about saving lives right?

How many people died simply because their Republican Governors didn't expand Medicaid in their Confederate States?

Acquaintance of my wife with Hep C. She and her husband are hardcore Republicans. Hated Obama, believed all the RW crap.

Just as the ACA was being passed, she developed liver cancer and a transplant was her only hope. Turned out they had one of those shoddy plans that were being sold at the time that didn't cover such catastrophic illnesses.

They were desparate to get on the transplant list, but couldn't without ability to pay. Her friends tried fund raisung events with far less sucess than needed.

Then got on an exchange plan and less than six months later was recovering nicely from a transplant.

ACA saved her life and they voted for Trump...

Now that Republicans are going to repeal ACA and those who have coverage now it is scary to think they will not have the coverage. I have been fortunate to be on my father's insurance and go directly to my company's insurance but to think about not having coverage would scare the help out of me. We never know what health problems we may face in the future, having coverage is great. It also helps the insured rates to decrease because the healthcare facilities does not have to spread the cost of uninsured patients to those who are insured.

dying from lack of health care before the ACA. Turns out that is close to how many die in traffic deaths a year. IMHO
