Wouldn't it make sense to try to have a constructive relationship with the emerging one?

Once you understand that Trump, Bannon, Flynn, and Putin see the world through racial lens their embrace of Russia and their rejection of China makes sense.

I would love to visit Russia, it seems to have a lot of unspoiled wilderness, China appears to have pollution. I would go for the food, but nothing else. China feels like they are leveraging everything that they have, while Russia is taking its sweet time. For 2 superpowers, they could not be more different.

I decided to dust 'em off and drink 'em by the shot instead of mixing drinks.

I think that'll get rid of any russian made products around here.

I suspect Russia (Putin) isn't enamored with China and wants us to weaken China and in the process weaken ourselves.
