No one's scaring me away: Protests are great. I can't wait: NYC, baby!

If it's your first, ignore the nay-sayers. It's a bunch of peaceful grey-hairs and the police are wonderful to us.

I always enjoy protests. I've got my pink hat and scarf and sign and I'm psyched! My sign will say:
"Women's issues are American issues" and "Women are not a special interest group: We're the majority"

Go for it!

If I was any good at linking stuff on my phone, I'd put Helen Reddy right here. 🎈🙂

Molly Ivins was visiting the sick bed of a long-time activist, who regaled her with tales of protests and marches. Ivins loved that kind of stuff, and when she asked her activist friend what she hoped the next wave of activists could know, it was how much fun activism is.

I'll be marching in my home town, and you better believe I'm going to have a good time!
