Donald's youngest son named Barron, who is ten. He's a kid that has no say in the events swirling around him; he's just along for the ride.
While I'm obviously not in on their relationship, I do get the sense that there is or will be an "Abandoning Father Complex" in store for this kid. Which I would not wish on anyone... no matter what their status in life is.
Yes, young Barron Trump has and will continue to have a cozy life. But I'm betting there's one thing this kid deeply craves and does not have which is his father's attention and involvement in his life right now during these critical adolescent years.
Good luck to you Barron.... none of us can control our parents, but we can control our lives.

It smells very, very fresh, Melania, who launched the skincare line exclusively in Lord & Taylor this week, told ABC News. I put it on him from head to toe. He likes it!

He wasn't that way with his kids, and he spent much of his life at his job (taking more photographs of the automated machinery that he helped design than his children), so I struggled to embrace him even when he was old and in poor health. It just seemed weird. I mostly patted him on the shoulder even when I felt terrible for him.
According to Tony Schwartz, Trump wasn't close to his kids:

As far as Schwartz could tell, Trump spent very little time with his family and had no close friends. In The Art of the Deal,

(17,006 posts)I truly believe much of Trump's issues are due to pathological parenting. Of course Barron says he wants to be like his Dad, it's the only way he can think of getting the love and nurturing every child craves. Look at how many times Trump mentions his own father. I've worked with a lot of adults who were abused as children. You would be amazed at how long it takes them to realize it was abuse. Trump talks about it being a good thing he was sent to a military academy. So why did he try to throw a peer out a second story window?
