1. The bakery that did make the cake said the order was to make it exactly like Obama's.

The bakery then donated the proceeds to the Human Rights Campaign.

is to exact revenge on Obama and his voters, so I would have thought he would have a cake that was anti Obama somehow.

4. I disagree. His entire reason to become president was to have the crowds of adulation that popular

presidents have. And if that means making a cake that a popular president had, that's what he'll do.

deeply humiliated at that dinner by Obama, this is all about that, all about revenge and of course to see his fans cheer him on when he harms millions.

Heck I used retirement scripts one after the other same wording. If something isn't broke don't screw with it.

Copying Obama's Cake. What a buncha maroons! All they would have had to do was say, "Make something unique and spectacular."

But no, they said, "Oh, just make the same one you did for Obama. That'll be fine. Nobody will notice that anyhow..."

"Behold Duff Goldman's Star-Spangled Inaugural Cake
by Amy McKeever Jan 22, 2013, 6:25am EST

Famous cakeman Duff Goldman of Baltimore's Charm City Cakes was responsible for one of yesterday's official presidential inauguration cakes and here it is in all its star-spangled, nine-tiered, 40-pound glory. Charm City Cakes' marketing director tells ABC News that the bakers went with a military inspiration given that their cake was for the Commander-in-Chief Ball, so there are seals from all the five branches of the military on the cake, as well as the requisite stars and stripes.

The cake — complete with red velvet, lemon poppy seed, pumpkin chocolate chip and pineapple coconut flavors — stood at about four feet tall and was expected to weigh between 40 and 50 pounds. Here's a photo gallery depicting the preparations of the cake, plus video explaining how Charm City Cakes got involved."

And info about the copy...

The caption reads:

Excited to share the cake we got to make for one of last night's inaugural balls. While we most love creating original designs, when we are asked to replicate someone else's work we are thrilled when it is a masterpiece like this one. @duff_goldman originally created this for Obama's inauguration 4 years ago and this years committee commissioned us to re-create it. Best part is all the profits are being donated to @humanrightscampaign, one of our favorite charities who we have loved working with over the years. Because basic human rights are something every man, woman and child~ straight, gay or the rainbow in between~ deserve!

So not only did Buttercream Bakeshop happily give Goldman credit while tacitly admitting how strange it was to be asked to replicate someone else’s design, the bakery also proudly noted that all proceeds from the cake would be donated to the Human Rights Campaign, an LGBT civil rights group. But the story has one more twist too: The cake isn't even real. It's a prop made out of Styrofoam except for a three-inch slice for ceremonial cutting, which Trump and Mike Pence did with a sword. So, yes, if you need a metaphor for the incoming administration, Trump blatantly stealing Obama’s cake but making it a fake one works quite nicely.
