Officials Beg Trump to Send Help After Storms Kill 20

Now we find out the consequences of hiring someone for a job with no experience. The learning curve for everything is going to be steep, and people will suffer and die needlessly because nobody in this administration will know how to do anything:

Desperate officials pleaded with President Donald Trump to send federal assistance Monday after at least 20 people were killed by storms and tornadoes that caused devastation authorities likened to the impact of a nuclear blast.

Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant said he had dispatched a letter to Trump pleading for help after four people were killed in his state. He said more 1,000 homes were damaged in Hattiesburg and surrounding Forrest County alone — 239 of which were obliterated.

In Dougherty County, Georgia, where four people were killed and a toddler was missing, county commission Chairman Chris Cohilas said Monday that he has been "begging FEMA for boots on the ground," referring to the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

"I'm asking President Trump to cut through the red tape and get people on the damned ground here," he said.

Now folks in Georgia and Mississippi will get a chance to find out just what they bought for this pig in a poke.

But if Colorado or California have a bad wildfire season, I think the state will burn down to ashes because they didn't vote for Trump.

There will be destruction on a much bigger scale. I think if anyone lives in Florida, though, where Mara Lago is - you'll get your aid.

But hey, one good thing. Those FEMA camps aren't to imprison the God fearing Christian republicans anymore

Please cut funding to FEMA. It is even less necessary than Planned Parenthood. Think of all the clappers you could hire with the money you save!

12. They should tell Trump that there will be a cheering section available.

For every dollar of aid, the pom-poms will shake, the cheers will go out, and the confetti will fall.

Said offer will cause Trump to come as well, and he will pretend to care while denying science and attacking the media. As long as the cheering goes on.

With a little follow up nod to: See ya in four years. Maybe.

Tax breaks are more important than natural disasters. They better get used to laying in the bed they made.
