I noticed that there were no folks outside the US Embassy this morning

in Kingston. Lots of folks were there Monday and yesterday.
Have they suspended visa application appointments?

We always notice because traffic moves much faster on US public holidays - and we don't see hustlers helping with parking.

I did notice lots more police on the sidewalk outside on those two days.

That US Embassies have been instructed, and are instructing anyone with ties to the seven banned countries will not be granted Visa appointments, need not bother even applying until further notice.
