time in the whitehouse is limited. He knows, as does Russia, that he needs to get the war balls rolling or the reordering of the Europe will fail. As his ramming through via executive orders shows a desperation due to time.
The belligerence towards China and the South China Sea islands, his weakening support for NATO and his threat to send troops into Mexico all show a man/boy in a panic. He is in so far over his head that only thing he thinks he can do is lash out at every shadow.
One way or another he will be removed from power, 25th amendment, impeachment or whatever. The world will not tolerate an unstable paranoid at the helm of such a powerful military. His untrustworthiness, self aggrandizement, lack of basic knowledge and rejection of truth and fact belie a man in control of his environment.
He has surrounded himself with sycophants and feckless power hungry sociopaths. He lashes out via a child's social medium that adults consider entertainment rather than a source of real information upon which to make decisions. Are foreign nations to monitor his tweets so as to formulate policy?
The lack of self control in even the smallest, least controversial issues is staggering in its immaturity. Stock markets rise and fall, companies sales crash and burn and nations stand aghast at his childish tweets.
25th amendment, impeachment or whatever. Get him out of there before it's too late.

(115,734 posts)All his life he's been surrounded by yes-men and sycophants whom he could fire (or not pay) if he felt like it, and during the campaign he held rallies before adoring crowds. His ego ballooned to monstrous proportions. He thought being president meant he could do whatever he wants and that he could order everybody, including other countries, to do his bidding. He seemed to think that because the U.S. president is sometimes called "the leader of the free world," he literally was the king of the world.
But now he's discovering that it doesn't work that way. There are limits on his power. It's driving him nuts that federal judges are pointing that fact out to him. He can't stand it.
I love it,

Which means, the more nuclear moves he makes, the easier it should be to reverse them.

(31,261 posts)The Democrat is highly likely to defeat him in 2020. I foresee nothing but a continuing set of disasters from the Trump Administration. His policies are likely to wreck the economy and make him a dead duck in 2020. The people who voted for him for a reason other than hatred of "others" likely will sit out 2020 or vote for the Democrat. Of all Democrats, Martin O'Malley and Kirsten Gilibrand seem to be positioning themselves the best early on.
