The Trump White House Staff Is Very Small Because

Those there do not trust anyone they don't know, and they know very few people they trust. So, many important day to day positions are still unfilled. The people who handle the behind the scenes routine work.

That leaves the tiny core of staff with more to be done than they can handle. I see no real end to this, because of that trust issue. Nobody on the staff has any real experience that would help them manage the business of a President, including the man in that office.

They're all in way over their heads.

5. We saw this with W

Basically there were 6-8 people running the whole thing. I remember reading about the staffers (who are type A Super achievers) working on research and trying to present it to Rove or someone else. They were flatly told "that's already been decided". The staffers were surprised. They'd done work they were really proud of and thought would be a great source for policy but the W crowd had already made up their minds.

W also had 8-5 office hours which is very unusual in the White House. He felt like everyone should go home to their families. For the young single staffers it was party time.

This was all before 9/11. The hours changed but the policy decision making didn't.

Either because the tiny staff doesn't know how (turning on the lights in the Cabinet Room, anyone?) or doesn't know the work needs to be done . . . that means that every piece of work they turn out (EOs, anyone?) will be defective to a lesser or greater degree.

The sloppiness observed during the campaign hasn't gone away.

Everyday brings a new crazy thing that there is no precedent for. The term "unprecedented" (Never done or known before) has been used to death, but it is the most applicable word to describe practically everything he says, does, or tweets about on a daily basis. He would prefer the term, "un-presidented"!

I think the media needs to grow a pair so they can properly document our downward spiral under the most corrupt, bizarre, unqualified, greedy power-mad bastards to ever run our country!

People power is the only way to fight through this. My soon to be 80 year old mom has me looking for an RV so she and I can go to where we are needed to stand up!

The first thing a corporate raider does is swoop in and fire all the old seasoned staff, the middle managers, the core past employees. Then they put in they own people who don't know anything, don't care about anything, or anyone---their job is simply to quickly figure out how to drain the resources, run the place into the ground, take the money and run.

This government takeover is being done exactly in the same way corporations are raided.

Well, his griftees said they wanted a business man.
