to not watch very much of such things.

I happen to not own a TV, and I'm at least as well informed as anyone who watches CNN or MSNBC all day. And of course vastly better informed than the Fox groupies.

The first rule of establishing dictatorship is attacking freedom of the press. The patriotic thing to do right now is support it in whatever way possible.

That's a lovely thought! We all do need to ignore or step away from this mess every now and again, for our sanity. But for the most part, the free press is our main hope of fighting this regime, and we need to be reading and watching the reports, and speaking up to our representatives. They only acted on Flynn because the press hammered. Most of us non-fascists don't watch or read rightwing reports.I can't stomach their crap. I personally do not watch TV, but read and seek out news on line, and enjoy the posts here on DU.

reacting to his every disgusting move. On FB and elsewhere. To temper it some.

His malignant narcissism demands he suck all the air out of the room. I'm thinking ... nothing grows in a vacuum, right? Quit giving him his heroin.
