McCain takes down tRump

Looks like McCain has had just about enough.

From WaPo: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2017/02/17/john-mccain-just-systematically-dismantled-donald-trumps-entire-worldview/?utm_term=.8f3996da2faf

John McCain is increasingly mad as hell about President Trump. And on Friday, he went after Trump — hard.

During a speech at the Munich Security Conference in Germany, the Republican senator from Arizona delivered a pointed and striking point-by-point takedown of Trump's worldview and brand of nationalism. McCain didn't mention Trump's name once, but he didn't have to.

And even considering the two men's up-and-down history and the terrible things Trump has said about McCain, it was a striking display from a senior leader of a party when it comes to a president of the same party.

In his speech, McCain suggested the Western world is uniquely imperiled this year — even more so than when Barack Obama was president — and proceeded to question whether it will even survive.

“In recent years, this question would invite accusations of hyperbole and alarmism; not this year,” McCain said. “If ever there were a time to treat this question with a deadly seriousness, it is now.”

You still have to give him a tiny bit of credit for the right kind of blabbering.

This author had the same response to McCain's latest publicity.

I Don't Want To Hear Another Fucking Word About John McCain Unless He Dies Or Actually Does Something Useful For Once

John McCain—the original Maverick, ol’ Walnuts, the brave teller of truths—is somehow once again positioning himself, to credulous journalists, as a renegade Republican who isn’t afraid to buck his party, despite his three-decade record of not ever actually bucking his party in any meaningful way. . . .

All he does is talk. He supports every one of the antichrists nominated for cabinet positions.

The next time McCain actually does something, it will be the first time in years.

In my opinion it is just plain foolish to disrespect McCain when he is taking on our dangerous clown President. And no, I don't have time or the inclination to read all of your complaints about McCain, so don't bother posting such in your replies to this posts. McCain could be playing the dutiful Republican defending Trump's every move like some GOP lawmakers who are scared to death of the deplorables in their voting base, but he is not and I don't give a rats butt what his motivation. And what's important is that he is taking down Trump on a regular basis. It is precisely because he is a Republican that gives him the standing to do so effectively. Politics makes strange bedfellows the saying goes. Well for better or worst we better be in bed with McCain on this one.

He is our key for getting Trump fully investigated by Congress in order to expose what conclusion really took place with the Russians during their hacking DNC and what Putin is holding over Trump's head. Again we would be absolute fools to publicly put down John McCain and his allies against Trump on both sides of the aisle until they make that happen.

Say what you might about McCain, but on this he is our ally and it makes no sense to put down your allies.
