President Trump on Thursday called his effort to ramp up deportations a “military operation” aimed at ridding the U.S. of “really bad dudes” ...

The Department of Homeland Security guidelines vastly increase the number of immigrants who are considered priorities for deportation. They also direct law enforcement agencies to hire thousands of new agents to apprehend people living in the country illegally, with local police and sheriffs’ offices enlisted in the effort.

The military, however, is not involved. The guidelines did not adopt a draft plan to enlist National Guard troops to help apprehend undocumented immigrants in nearly a dozen states ...

new agents. They must be trained first. Who is going to pay for training and salaries? Is it a permanent job? Are the currently unemployed going to want to try this new occupation?

It would depend on how the terms unlawful obstructions and assemblages, are defined by the Federal court system!

...140 year old act intended to restrict the use of federal military on US soil. Probably moot at this point given the Homeland Security exemption and the militarization of local police forces and ICE but still...it's out there.

What exactly is the definition of an unlawful obstruction?




The National Defense Authorization Act 2008 Pub.L. 110-181
Repeals provisions in section 1076 in Pub.L. 109-364 but still enables the President to call up the National Guard of the United States for active federal military service during Congressionally sanctioned national emergency or war. Places the National Guard Bureau directly under the Department of Defense as a joint activity. Promoted the Chief of the National Guard Bureau from a three-star to a four-star general.

(2) opposes or obstructs the execution of the laws of the United States or impedes the course of justice under those laws.
In any situation covered by clause (1), the State shall be considered to have denied the equal protection of the laws secured by the Constitution.

And as for Unlawful Combinations & conspiracy? What about sanctuary locations...

(a) Criminal penalties
(1)

(i) knowing that a person is an alien, brings to or attempts to bring to the United States in any manner whatsoever such person at a place other than a designated port of entry or place other than as designated by the Commissioner, regardless of whether such alien has received prior official authorization to come to, enter, or reside in the United States and regardless of any future official action which may be taken with respect to such alien;
(ii) knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, transports, or moves or attempts to transport or move such alien within the United States by means of transportation or otherwise, in furtherance of such violation of law;
(iii) knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, conceals, harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, such alien in any place, including any building or any means of transportation;
(iv) encourages or induces an alien to come to, enter, or reside in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such coming to, entry, or residence is or will be in violation of law; or

10. I have been trying to tell people he was going to declare martial law or

something like it and probably worse. Someone the other day showed a picture of Trump supporters standing with guns and I said to get used to it because he will soon be hiring people to do that on purpose. He is not going to just attack Muslims and people from Hispanic countries. We are going to be listened to and watched to make sure we are not against him. He is a dictator.
