Rachel mentioned it on her program and said they didn't pass clearances, they've been working in the white house for a month after lying to investigators, but I haven't heard anything more about it?
Thanks

(36,385 posts)Frog marched sounds misleading, like they were under arrest and hauled away in a Black Maria.

(31,942 posts)They were escorted out as anyone would be and given other positions in the federal government which do not require the high level security clearances that the White House does. No one accused them of "lying to investigators". The SF-86 is a 127 page form that has to be filled out by employees seeking a security clearance. The White House has hundreds of positions and it takes a while for the FBI to go through all these forms and check what has been submitted. The 6 may have been entirely truthful on the form and it just took a month for reviewers to get to their forms and examine what was on them.

(9,527 posts)if we are let go, we get escorted out of the building. It's a reflection of the information access. Somebody might get pissed off and do something stupid/illegal.

(3,071 posts)It would be easy to make error on this. I would do a printout just to go over and perfect. Just as happy to have done this on an earlier version of the form.
