That had to be a pretty exciting surprise for them, but he was also very funny!

When the film was over, my friends and family and I sat quietly in the theater. None of us wanted to be the first to say that we didn't really like the movie.

We're all fans of the great musicals -- Astaire and Rogers, Gene Kelly, Judy Garland. La La Land had a simplistic story, with unlikable characters, played by performers who couldn't really dance or sing very well (or act very well, in the case of John Legend).

But that's just my opinion. Your mileage may vary!

sort of meh compared to the hype, but the ending really sucked and wasn't called for. It could have been done so much better.

I loved it. I am an artist like those characters. I love Los Angeles. It's my adopted home. I get the story.
