2. Moonlight's Moment was Taken Away by LLL

Not LLL fault, but very wrong. Some incompetent gave WB the wrong envelope, maybe drunk. Between WB and FD, you would think one of them would have said, we may have the wrong envelope or just stepped off stage, made a joke, and double checked. Felt a bit for him, as he handed it to her and she announced it, but geez, it said. BEST ACTRESS.

Then, all of the after comments to mitigate the fuck up, stole the moment even more. Moonlight handled it with grace.

On the other hand, it was DTs fault that the election was stolen (again)...FBI (worse than JEH), Putin, fake news....

Fuck losing on a technicality again. Time to make them pay for gerrymandering and sneaky tricks. I think we will win big in 18 and 20. Bigly. And woe be unto them when we redraw some district lines and start legislating again. All that freedom to harm folks will be gone like the freedom to own folks.

in 2020....

my wife gets pissed at me these days when I bring up the farmer's luck- and to be sure, to quote the zen sage huey lewis, "sometimes, bad is bad"-- nevertheless, the pony we pull out from under this pile of poop might just be, like you say, some wins at a politically crucial and opportune time.

I never thought of it like that, maybe we might do some good here. I feel all 'fire and blood' right now, so maybe I need to think more strategically. Hard when i'm so angry.
