Dubya takes more shots at Trump than he did at Obama over the eight years of his presidency

George W. Bush opens up on Trump's war with the media, Russia and travel ban

In a wide-ranging interview that shied away from directly criticizing the current commander in chief, former President George W. Bush said it's critical for the media to hold accountable “people who abuse their power." He also said he favored an immigration policy that was more "welcoming."

I mean graduating from Yale even as a C student requires SOME intelligence. But I think he knew that he needed to appeal to the future deplorables.

Putin couldn't have really thought Trump had a shot to win. Yes you can manipulate the masses (in sure we have too in some places) but to that extent?

I think Putin wanted to knock Jeb off so the next generation of cold warriors were kept out of policy positions.

In fact, even for a closet conspiracy theory, it's too clever by far.

When you are not sure an independent prosecutor is needed is the turning point when an independent prosecutor is needed.

But not personally a horrible person.

After 9-11 he fully embraced muslims and while there were still attacks on Muslims and others who "looked" muslim things could have been far worse without that.

did they both do things i found morally problematic? yeah, but it was a bow to political expediency and not a manifestation of their essential character.
