You need about half a million bucks that you will pledge to invest in a business, a franchise, or what-have-you, or a really good skill (scientist, engineer, thoracic surgeon, some other jazzy, needed talent) in order to get residency and a path to citizenship.

And if you are old? You'd better be STEEEEEEEEEEENKIN' rich or they won't have you.

And if you're stinkin' rich, why would you give a shit about the cost of health care?

They'll have to get used to hearing the Revolutionary War was wrong, and that the Canadians were on the right side back then and in the War of 1812. I've had talks with some folks when visiting Victoria and other places in B. C. and they're pretty firm on it.

Canadians won't foot the bill for their socialized medicine. Many Teajadists are on Medicare but don't realize that it's socialized already... Sigh...
