because corporations don't like people over 50 who might be making the maximum salary or who might be developing health issues that drive corporate health costs. Trust me, they've got their own actuarial tables to tell them when each worker should get the boot.

So a population surviving on a patchwork of dead end jobs until they can get reduced Social Security at 62 is suddenly going to be asked to pay thousands more in insurance premiums. Oh, yeah, that's going to work out really well for all of us.

This is the Drop Dead Act.

Where did the 3,000 come from? If it goes up 3 grand and it was 15, it would go to 18. No?

I understand the need to be dramatic to emphasize their point, but it's misleading. If we are to assume they are implying that people are currently paying 15K a year in premiums, then his little log chart shows an increase of 10K not 3K.
