What is happening here? A new generation awoke, aware and ready to join the Revolution of their foremothers. So, I really do have something to thank trump for, he has breathed new life into our very long fight for equality. He has awoken a giant. He has set us afire and the children will be rising with us. Fear us. We have always been a force to be reckoned with...you haven't seen anything yet.
"Young girls finding their power. We are the leaders."
International Women's Day ~ It begins anew. Women and Girls Rising. Our Independence Day.

(5,122 posts)As a father, I totally see it. I notice when my daughter achieves things that boys get more credit for. It makes me mad.
I see the awesome potential in my daughter. I do everything in my power to make sure she is respected for her accomplishments.
She naturally treats everyone equally.
I'm really proud of her and our new generation of Americans in general.
Times are tough now but we have a great group of people coming of age.
My daughter gives me faith where little exists elsewhere. Trump shows how much our generation screwed up. Hope lives in my daughter and her friends.

(83,838 posts)You are standing with your daughter with pride. It is not just about women...it is the men that stand with us as well. One voice.
There is nothing more powerful in changing men's opinion of women than having a daughter.
