Here we go. Lock stock and barrel.
Now she's going to my question: why is this rolling disclosure all happening now?

(28,394 posts)She just announced that tonight she will explore whether Russian influence ended after the campaign or if it is still an ongoing operation within the administration.
Should be good.

The day after Tillerson took office he fired everyone with experience -- I mean decades and decades of experience. You know what "institutional memory" is? He pretty much gave the US State Department a prefrontal lobotomy. Their desks are empty; they are not being replaced.
Frankly, that counts as a bombshell for me.

(20,695 posts)We are now, already, operating as a subsidiary of russia and our state department is evicerated in order to allow that to go on.
We have no international diplomacy. This will not be allowed to stand.

(40,416 posts)If you do not have MS/NBC you can still get your Rachel fix. Point your podcast aggregator towards "Rachel Maddow" and subscribe to either the video or audio version. I only have download limited cellular connection here in the north woods, so the small 10 MB audio version suits me just fine. I grab it every night she's on. Usually posted after 11 PM ET.

(40,416 posts)One night's program overwrites the previous night's.
So I always snag the audio podcast in case I want to relisten to it, which I sometimes do.
And annoyingly, MS/NBC is sometimes sporadic about uploading the night's program. I just keep trying.

(1,124 posts)Everything he has done or caused to be done needs to be declared illegal and undone. Tillerson out, senior diplomats recalled. Trump, Pence and his entire crew locked up in a max security prison for collusion and treason. No one is above the law! I HATE THESE MOFO'S! They all need to pay for what they have done.

The investigation will actually uncover alot more than we already know even though Republicans are trying to protect him. 2018 elections are coming up and if they continue in stonewalling an investigation that will be a very uncomfortable election for them ...

(24,703 posts)Rachel Maddow has connected DOTS to this crime the and the people on the intelligence committee chairman's position should remove themselves, and the people that colluded (TREASON) with this crime need to be in brought in for questioning ---------------NOW, no, if's or and's about it.
Maddow said that the election is over, no it is not----------------this Russian influence and hack made this election corrupt
If anyone from Congress was on that team, then, they need to not vote on any legislation, they have been corrupted
Every f***king republican that met or is associated with the sexual predators campaign should be be challenged because they with help of the Russians "wrote the fascists republican platform, that is the first time in "HISTORY" that has ever happened , and for them to not to know on that platform committee is absurd, that would include Nunes and Burr, and Chaffetz, Grassley, Sessions, all of them
And now Tillerson, is gutting the "state Department " for 37% of its funding, from the expose that Maddow has connected the dots to Russia, and every republican confirmed this "guy" that got the f***ing Order of Lenin planted on his suit jacket
For three nights she has laid out her case on this matter and she has exposed what has happened, and that dossier is slowly being corroborated as being fact, and if this golden shower ass**** was in that room, then the "fascist's republicans " have a choice country or party
I am going to call my congressional representatives tomorrow and demand some action, this is a republic, and it is now at stake, not some party and it's worthless agenda
triron
(22,007 posts)the election being over, I thought the same thing. My comment above I reiterate
If someone cheated in a sports competition, their victory and any associated laurels are not allowed to stand. An election in a 'supposed' democracy should be sacred and be upheld at least to the ideals of sports competition.
turbinetree
(24,703 posts)and as for using the sports analogy, lets take it one step forward, voting is not a sport, men and woman have died to have that moment to decide an election, that they will never have in there life again.
That, "fascist republican party" allowed the Russian's to make a deal with them, that is UN-American, and it besmirches the men and woman that lost there life to defend.
And when those elected representatives sat in a room with a Russian agent, they broke the Oath of the Constitution to uphold and defend that document, not to defend a party or a flag, or to get someone elected, but a ideal for a republic. They swore allegiance to the document, just like the men and woman that died and they should be removed from there positions all of them, before and after the rigged election, they broke that Oath
elmac
(4,642 posts)there would be riots in the street, impeachments galore and a redo election.
turbinetree
(24,703 posts)these people have broken the Oath of the Constitution to defend that document when they let a Russian agent write a platform that senators and congressmen and woman------and this is just outrageous
I agree with your premise but it has now gone into the swearing of defending the Constitution, they were still employed by us the taxpayers when they wrote that platform, and they have violated that oath

(15,286 posts)Two nights ago she reported the misspelling of the name of a Russian in the dossier. That caused reporters trying to verify what the dossier said to not find anything, but when the name is spelled correctly and searched, that part of the dossier is confirmed.
Last night she talked about the GOP platform and Trump making sure the amendment for the US to send arms to Ukraine was tabled. She linked meetings that Manafort, who was Trump's campaign mgr at the time, had with a Russian in/around the time of the RNC and the action on the Ukraine platform language. Steele's dossier said that there was a quid pro quo to Russia helping Trump and that was for Trump to look the other way, as it were, on Ukraine. And we know that Trump and his allies have done that. So that part is at least circumstantially confirmed.
