(130,980 posts)so I can't complain in that respect. Would just because he got the job, but then he died. I did not get the job back. Was 'politics,' and a woman manager was 'in charge.'
The fun one was when they hired two men to replace me and they both made more money.

(15,806 posts)A close family member got to experience that particular joy. She eventually migrated to another company where she did quite well, taking their product literally around the world. Her team was assigned to a recruiting tour, and one of the locations was that former place of employment. The man who she'd trained was sitting in the front row. When he realized who was doing the recruiting, he gave up, got up, and left. That was twenty years ago and it still makes her smile.

(28,341 posts)One day the company told me we were expanding! I should train this male who was going to drive a second, newer truck.
They sold the old truck and gave my job to a giant, lazy piece of shit who expected to do his job "no touch."
But he did have a penis.

(1,735 posts)Found out my assistant made $15k to start more than me, his boss. I was told he had a masters degree, I didn't. I'd only been on the job 12 years and was considered tops in my field. Quit and was lucky enough to find a nice beach to live on.
