Ivanka Trumps Landlord Is a Chilean Billionaire Suing the U.S. Government

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are renting a Washington, D.C., home from a Chilean billionaire who bought it after the November election and whose company is embroiled in a dispute with the U.S. government over a mine potentially worth billions of dollars.

The six-bedroom house in the capital’s Kalorama neighborhood was bought for $5.5 million in late December by a company controlled by Andrónico Luksic, according to public records and interviews. Mr. Luksic’s family is the wealthiest in Chile, by some accounts, and controls a mining, banking and industrial empire that Forbes estimates is valued at $13.1 billion.

Ms. Trump and Mr. Kushner are President Donald Trump’s daughter and son-in-law. The couple moved into the house with their family around the time of his inauguration. Mr. Kushner is a top White House adviser.

The Obama administration in its waning days blocked a Luksic-company plan to build a giant copper-and-nickel mine adjacent to a Minnesota wilderness area, citing environmental concerns. The company and some Minnesota politicians are urging the Trump administration to reverse the decision.

And he immediately turned around and "leased" it to Ivanka and Jared. The very billionaire who needs Trump to "fix" an Obama ruling that kiboshed his plan for his copper and nickel mining in a Minnesota wilderness area.

Kinda makes me wonder how much he's charging them to live there.

I only have a handful of pussy jokes I use-- Most of the time I save those for those unfunny puns for the hashtag games on Twitter.

There's too much information that isn't shared on here-- Thought I'd change that up with my posts. Thanks for reading. lol

I once lived in a building owned by a slumlord who used to burn down his properties for the insurance money while people were still living in them. Top that.

Big city property owners are generally not nice guys.

and 10 people crammed into a fourth floor firetrap is a far cry from a couple of rich kids and their rugrats in a mink lined skyscraper. Still, most people living in cities where housing is hard to come by shouldn't be judged by their scummy landlords.

In this case, likely daddy's good friend alerted them about the place to seal the deal with daddy.

Since early January, when the location of the Kushners' DC home was revealed, I've wondered if they were renting or if they had purchased the property. The sale was private so details weren't available at first. The press knew the property had changed hands but didn't know if the Kushners were the buyers. The seller was Latvian-born and had investments in Russia. Of course he did. I was fully prepared to believe he had sold it to Ivanka and Jared in some sweetheart deal. I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, to discover it's just a means to access their influence. Dear god, this lot is corrupt.

The ones that are "eggs", still after maybe twelve tweets is either someone who doesn't know how to add a photo yet, didn't care to add one (was too lazy) Or got an account to remain anonymous for a reason. Some of them display porn. I will either block those, or mute them.

would be located just outside the BWCA on National Forest land southeast of the town of Ely. BWCA is the most visited wilderness area in the US. There is an thriving outdoor recreation scene employing hundreds related to canoeing, fishing and other outdoor pursuits. Ely is called the "Canoe Capital of the US.
