I have never really realized how heartless some Republikkans can be

I am 64 and have been at this most of my life.

But until today I don't think I really realized how heartless some GOPers can be.

1. They have no heart. They never did. They dont have God either, for God

After all, isn't Pat Robertson a billionaire preacher? He ask poor people to send money to him. These guys and gals are false prophets by their own readings.

Sometimes I hope there is a hell, but Pat Robertson probably at one time there was one, but now he believes he can squat 1000....who knows where the brain is at.

3. Unfortunately that has been a reality that I've accepted for a fairly long time.

While there are still a few Republicans that have good intentions and care about other people, it has come to the point that a solid majority of them have no sympathy for anyone else and believe in the pull yourself up by your own bootstraps ideology. The medical fields seem to be overrun by those that are heartless and lacking in ethics.

I hope that the issues that your family and you are experiencing get resolved quickly and effectively. Good luck with everything.

5. This is the face of the modern GOP. The only difference is they didn't have unilateral power before.

Now they have no need for the pretense of deal making since they hold all the power. They'll do anything to instill their will as quickly as they can on the USA.

I keep holding onto the hope that we'll be able to end this lunacy in 4 years, but then I wake up and look at how polarized we are as a nation.
