General contractor Lend Lease nominated Freestate for a Washington Building Congress Craftsmanship award for the lighting they installed, an award they won. So, Miller said, there is no question about the quality of the work they did, just whether they should be paid for it.
And while there were cost overruns, they were a direct result of Donald Trumps presidential campaign:
The lawsuit claims that the $2 million in unpaid costs were incurred after the general contractor, Lend Lease, requested an acceleration of work so the hotel would be ready for a series of Trump presidential campaign events.

(38,958 posts)If they did the work as specified on the Trump Building in DC or anywhere else they should be paid. Why they were hired or what went on elsewhere is not really part of this particular issue. If they operated improperly or illegally in other instances those should be addressed and it appeared that those were dealt with or are being dealt with.
I wouldn't want them working on my projects, but if they did, they should be paid according to whatever agreement was in order.

(15,543 posts)republican Pee45 has screwed over contractors and workers for decades. There is a long, long record.
But my cousin, who is a building contractor, voted for Pee 45. When I ask him if he'd sign a contract to do work for Pee45 he says no.
Disconnect. Major freaking disconnect. Hello republicans? Wake the f*ck up.

(9,426 posts)are next to be screwed over by tRump. Look at the cost to fly him to Florida every weekend. The cost of keeping him in DC (and Florida) while his wife lives in NY. We are being ROYALLY screwed, people. What does he have to do to finally be STOPPED? How could people be so taken with this orange, dumb clown? He is a JOKE. The rest of the world is in shock that he was "elected" to be in the WH. Compare him to the elegant, intelligent, classy, family oriented President Obama. Totally different. One has CLASS the other is CRAP.
