Albatross around his neck. This isn't going away.
He'll FOREVER be associated with this cold-hearted policy of slashing money to such a popular program.
Into the history books he goes with this massive blunder.

Republicans treat veterans exactly like fetuses.

They "love" them while they're on the battlefield and glorify them if they die in battle, just as they "love" fetuses in the womb.

But once they return from battle with their battle scars, they're on their own and will get f*ck all if they need assistance in any way, just as babies are on their own once they are born.

A pox on every militaristic GOPer who does NOT oppose Trump's proposed budget!

Congress to help mentally disabled vets buy guns. Apparently the 20 suicides a day isn't enough for the GOP.

I've been saying since November that he's all about fascism. 100%.

This one plays to several of the 14 points:

#2: Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights
Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.

These people, who are dependent on the government are not worthy of government support in their eyes. To them, there is no right to food or to life.

#4 Supremacy of the Military
Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.

What is their openly stated purpose for these cuts? To feed more into the already over bloated military machine. Why? What war is stretching the resources of our already over fed military machine? This is preparation of our military to eventually enforce military law here, and to ensure there's enough might to deter our current allies (soon to be adversaries) from any kind of intervention.

EVERY single cut he is making, and every single increase in spending he is making completely reaffirms my supposition that this man, and his followers are absolutely 100% committed to moving us towards a fascist state!

This hurts so much...I have two friends of mine who depend on Meals on Wheels...and are veterans. But, they are gay men. And I am a transgender woman with mental issues.

So, I guess I could get a gun and hurt others or myself but I don't get to EAT?!?!

A budget says much of our values. This one is really loud about what this orange zest tang man child and his minions feel about life.
