Ivanka Trump has West Wing office and will get access to classified information

Ivanka Trump’s role in her father’s administration is expanding. Though the president’s eldest daughter currently holds no official title in the White House, she is working out of a West Wing office and will soon get access to classified information, even though she is not technically serving as a government employee.

In a statement issued to Politico, Trump acknowledged the lack of precedent for an adult child of the US president to take on such an ambiguous role: “I will continue to offer my father my candid advice and counsel, as I have for my entire life,” she said. “While there is no modern precedent for an adult child of the president, I will voluntarily follow all of the ethics rules placed on government employees.”

This just doesn't feel right to me. Not only is this an issue that it is his daughter, but she knows nothing about government.

I still have an issue with her being right in the middle of the action going on in the White House. It's just one more indication where tRump will do what he wants to do regardless of how it appears or if others advise against it. He said some time ago that he intended to have family near him and it was greeted with much caution. So he just let the heat die down and has now announced it like it is as normal as apple pie. If we stand for it, he will continue to do exactly what he wants to do. He is a spoiled brat quite used to getting his way.

Can we just get an ejection seat in the Oval Office and eject him out over the fence to Lafayette Square?? Oh puh-leeze! Let it be said, let it be done!
