he's one of those goody two shoes who if given a chance will latch on to a good buy on some stolen property and will scarf it up. Kinda like some of our goody two shoes go to church every sunday people around here.
Thats why if you have anything like a portable welder, for instance, that every farmer really needs but won't pay the price for an honest one, you better have it marked in a couple places, one where its easy to see and one where they have to take something off to get to the name or number. Once your item is stolen and you notice one that has a sticker or some such covering the easy to find mark you put on it you can then call the cops and tell them that you might have found your item and tell them what you've done and chances are they'll find your mark where you placed it out of sight, hard to get to etc. All my stuff/tools is marked that way.
