Joseph and the father of a nice young lady would have gotten together and arranged a marriage for Jesus. Jesus was kind of an asshole, but as Golde told Tseitel in Fiddler on the Roof, "a husband is not to look at. A husband is to get."

OTOH, you understand the Christian faith would have been totally different if Jesus would have settled down with a contracting business, a nice wife and three or four kids, and died of old age instead of doing what he did.
